The Cape Town office, founded in 1991, has extensive experience in the analysis and design of slurry pipeline and mine backfill systems, and offers the full range of engineering services through to detailed design, construction support and commissioning.

The adjoining 1200 m2 Slurry Test Facility includes large scale slurry pump and pipeline test loops of up to 300 mm in diameter, viscometers, thickening and filtration test facilities, UCS test machines, a backfill and slurry materials characterisation laboratory, as well as specialised Pilot Plant facilities.

Our capabilities also include the optimisation of our clients’ existing operations through on-site process audits and investigations that lead to process improvements. We oversee plant upgrades and retrofits and offer on-site construction management and commissioning services. The office also provides a key point of contact for our local clients and represents the full range of services offered by the Cape Town office.
