Paterson & Cooke opened its Australian Office in 2012.
Its focus was to offer its global slurry engineering expertise to the local Australian and Southeast Asian markets. Since then, it has built an extensive portfolio of projects that showcases Paterson & Cooke’s expertise in the analysis and design of slurry pipeline and mine backfill systems. The Australian office offers a full range of engineering services from concept studies through to detailed design, construction support and commissioning.
The adjacent slurry testing facility features large-scale slurry pump and pipeline test loops (of up to 150 mm in diameter), a wear loop, viscometers, thickening and filtration testing equipment, and an advanced backfill and slurry materials characterisation laboratory.
Capabilities also include the optimisation of our clients’ existing operations through on-site process audits, plant upgrades and retrofits, and on-site construction management and commissioning services.
