Peter Goosen

Specialist Engineer

MSc Engineering, 1992; BSc Engineering (Civil), 1989 University of Cape Town

Peter joined the Paterson & Cooke team in 2000 and is based in our Cape Town office in South Africa. He is responsible for overseeing hydraulic design at the Cape Town office, as well as the development of slurry-related hydraulic design capability across the Paterson & Cooke group.

Peter has been involved in the hydro-transport field since 1990 and has gained extensive experience during this time. He has contributed to the understanding of slurry flow behaviour through the contribution of many published papers at internationally recognised conferences, as well as through teaching in industry courses on the subject.

Peter has been involved in an extensive variety of slurry pipeline projects and has gained extensive design experience through involvement in projects ranging from high-level studies through to detailed design, construction, and commissioning phases.
