Just over six months ago, our Denver Laboratory began preparing for a significant expansion of its capabilities, adding mineral processing test work supported by enhanced in-house analytical capabilities. As the scope of the laboratory grew, so too did our commitment to quality, consistency, and robust operational processes. This commitment led us to pursue ISO 9001 certification as a framework for strengthening our systems and supporting the continued growth of the laboratory.
These efforts were spearheaded by Sr. Analytical Chemist Brittany Garcia, whose leadership was instrumental in guiding the laboratory through the certification process. However, this achievement was truly a team effort. Every member of the Denver Laboratory contributed to the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the systems and processes required to meet the ISO 9001 requirements.
Following the successful completion of the Stage 1 audit in April 2026, the Paterson & Cooke Denver Laboratory set its sights on certification by successfully completing the Stage 2 audit in June. By early July 2026, that goal had become a reality: the Denver Laboratory was officially ISO 9001 certified.
This achievement reflects the strength of our Quality Management System and our commitment to consistency, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across every aspect of our work. It reinforces our focus on delivering technically robust, reliable, and consistent data while demonstrating that our processes are designed to support quality at every stage—from project planning and execution through to final delivery.
Achieving ISO 9001 certification is also a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team. Their commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction made this milestone possible.
