Nicol joined Paterson & Cooke in 2009 and is based at our Cape Town office in South Africa.

He has been involved in numerous engineering studies as well as construction and commissioning projects. Previously, he was involved in the design, construction, and commissioning of mineral processing plants, where he gained valuable experience in manufacturing and construction.

Nicol’s current focus is on hydraulic transient flow analysis, simulation, and control systems. He is also frequently involved in the hydraulic and mechanical design and commissioning of pumping systems.
