Alistair Baty
Principal Engineer
Alistair joined our team in 2010 and is a principal engineer at Paterson & Cooke USA in Denver, Colorado.
His impressive track record in engineering consulting in the mining industry includes eight years as a senior mechanical engineer within one of the world’s major diversified mining groups, bearing the responsibility of providing specialised engineering consulting in the field of fluids handling (primarily piping and pumping systems) on a global scale.
Alistair is the senior expert within the engineering analysis groups and has vast experience in utilising and embracing the breadth of engineering appropriately. He has extensive experience gained from the review and optimisation of some of the largest pipelines in the world, to the design, fabrication, on-site construction and commissioning of pipeline systems.
Alistair is currently the vice-chairman of the ASME B31.4 Code Committee, work group chair for Chapter XI on Slurry Pipelines, and serves on the ASME B31.4/B31.8 Joint Executive Committee.
