Matt is a Project Engineer at Paterson & Cooke’s Sudbury, Ontario practice. He has been with Paterson & Cooke since 2022 and is a member of P&C’s Global Backfill Group.

After completing his Bachelor of Engineer in British Columbia, Matt started his career with a backfill equipment OEM, where he designed custom equipment for notable mining and tunnelling projects. Many of these projects took him worldwide for onsite commissioning and support.

His diverse project experience has provided him an in-depth understanding of cemented rockfill and pastefill systems. Matt focuses on process design, bulk handling systems and mechanical equipment design within the backfill system design process.
