Ryan is a Process Engineer in Paterson & Cooke’s Sudbury, Ontario practice and a member of our global Mine Backfill and Tailings & Mine Waste groups. Since joining Paterson & Cooke in 2022, he has gained extensive experience leading and managing complex brownfield and greenfield backfill and tailings projects from early studies through detailed engineering, commissioning, and operational support.

Ryan specialises in the process, mechanical, piping, and layout design of mine backfill and tailings processing systems, with experience designing plants ranging from 2500 to 15 000 tonnes per day. Beyond his technical role, he frequently serves as the primary client contact, leading multidisciplinary teams and maintaining project continuity from design through implementation.

His hands-on commissioning experience spans projects in Canada, Mexico, Tanzania, South Korea, and elsewhere internationally. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Ryan brings a rare combination of technical expertise, field experience, and client leadership to Paterson & Cooke’s global projects.
