Kelvin Creber

Project Engineer

M.Eng. (Mechanical), 2017; B.Eng. (Mechanical), 2013, McGill University

Kelvin is a Project Engineer at Paterson & Cooke’s Sudbury, Ontario practice. He has been with Paterson & Cooke since 2018 and is a member of P&C’s Global Backfill Group.

He has been involved in mine backfill since working on his Master’s thesis project, investigating wear in mine backfill distribution systems. He has experience with in-situ data collection in underground mines, backfill material characterization and laboratory testing procedures, costing, hydraulic and process design.

Kelvin has written technical papers on wear in mine backfill distribution systems and pastefill transportation. He specialises in detailed design of backfill distribution networks, including transient and stress analysis to design anchoring and supports that mitigate forces and cope with the challenging underground environment.
