Meet Our Global Team

Andy Beveridge

Senior Engineer

BSc (Hons) Applied Geology, 2006 Camborne School of Mines; National Diploma in Engineering, 1996 Bicton College

Andy joined the Paterson & Cooke team in 2018 and is situated in our Cornwall office in the UK. He has worked on a wide range of civil, mining, and nuclear projects, with a particular focus on mine backfill in underground operations.

Throughout his career, he has participated in, or taken the lead on technical studies, engineering design, operations, and maintenance. Having worked on projects from concept to closure, Andy has developed a deep understanding of the interactions between disciplines and the positive impact of quality design and engineering.

Andy is a chartered geotechnical engineer and has operated as senior engineer in large open-pit and underground mining operations. Much of his underground experience is in deep, high-stress mines, where backfill is critical in managing the stability and safety of the workplace.

In addition to backfill and geotechnical engineering, Andy has operated as project manager, project engineer, and service engineer in a range of industries. With significant experience of hands-on work in service engineering, Andy is comfortable with construction, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of fixed and mobile plants.
