Thickener Circuits

Paterson & Cooke assess existing thickener installations, and provide recommendations to improve thickener performance. For new projects we are able to assess the thickener requirements for conventional and paste thickener applications. We do this through a thorough understanding of the factors that affect sedimentation, such as water chemistry and solids properties, backed up by years of practical experience from working on a wide range of thickening facilities.

A successful paste and thickened tailings system design requires a holistic overview of the process preparation flow sheet, from ensuring a balanced flow to the thickeners to the placement of a controlled product at the deposition site.
