Paterson & Cooke assess existing thickener installations, and provide recommendations to improve thickener performance. For new projects we are able to assess the thickener requirements for conventional and paste thickener applications. We do this through a thorough understanding of the factors that affect sedimentation, such as water chemistry and solids properties, backed up by years of practical experience from working on a wide range of thickening facilities.

By having unique insight into the solid-liquid behaviour, we have developed novel dewatering applications, including an elutriator to process up to 5 000 tonnes of ROM feed per hour, to Specialized dewatering bins used to control ROM feed rate to screening process.
