Paterson & Cooke is proud to celebrate over 25 years service to the mining and resource industries.

Long Distance Pipelines

Long distance slurry pipeline transport is a proven technology and is now widely accepted as a viable alternative to conventional bulk transport. Key to the success of a long distance system is minimizing operating costs by determining the optimum grinding requirements for pipeline transport.

Process Engineering

Paterson & Cooke has process engineering expertise covering a wide range of mineral processing technologies including comminution, classification, beneficiation and solid/liquid separation.

Paterson & Cooke has designed and implemented numerous tailings systems throughout the world.

Specialist Engineering

Paterson & Cooke’s specialist engineering services leverage the use of software simulations efficiently to accelerate process understanding and engineering development.

Mine Backfill

The design of deep level backfill distribution systems for hydraulic and paste backfill was revolutionized by Paterson & Cooke’s full flow design methodology.

Field Services

Many processes are not fully optimised. Variability of the ore characteristics, increases in throughput or general wear and tear over time, for example, are often overlooked. Paterson & Cooke has a dedicated group focusing on providing follow-up field services to our clients.

Mining & Process Technology

Paterson & Cooke’s skills and experience are an excellent resource to help our clients develop new technology for mining and mineral process applications.

Paterson & Cooke’s laboratory services provide a full range of test capabilities of mineral processing, tailings management, mine backfill and long distance slurry pipeline applications.

Marine & Coastal

Offshore mining presents many challenges and the undersea hoisting of ore from the sea bed to mining vessels is crucial to such operations.

As a company we are committed to sharing our specialist knowledge and skills by hosting courses that aim to equip participants with a broad understanding of the practical and theoretical issues related to the topic.
